Kathryn Boyd Brolin is a photographer and director based in Santa Barbara, CA. Her photography work includes cover shoots and feature spreads for publications including Billboard Magazine, Hollywood Reporter, The Rake, Numero, Men’s Journal, and more, with a focus on portraiture and storytelling through cinematic lighting and unique compositions. She has served as an ambassador for Leica Camera since 2020 and was exhibited at the prestigious Leica Gallery in Los Angeles in 2023. In addition to her photography work, Boyd Brolin directs both commercial and narrative projects. She has directed brand spots, music videos and multiple short films, with her most recent, “Mother’s Day,” a film she wrote, directed and starred in, debuting at Hollyshorts and making its way through the festival circuit, receiving several accolades including Best Narrative Short, Best Actress, and Best Editing from the LA Film Awards. Boyd Brolin is currently in development on her first feature film.
